Members PEP TalkMPS Principles of Design Thursday, March 20th, 7pm via Zoom
Are you looking for ways to improve your pastels? What makes a painting successful? What are jurors considering when they select artwork for a pastel exhibition?
Join us on Thursday, March 20th, at 7pm for an overview of the MPS Principles of Design.
Originally written to ensure a fair and professional assessment of the works submitted for signature applications, the MPS Principles of Design are also an excellent tool to help you critique and evaluate your own artwork. These principles will also help you better prepare for exhibitions since these principles are commonly used by jurors to select artworks for exhibitions.
Dot Stepenaski, our Signature Membership Coordinator, will be presenting.
Members: you must register in advance for this talk, by midnight March 19th, in order for us to send you the information to join the Zoom session.
PEP = Passionate about Everything Pastel: a fun term for occasional zoom talks presented by MPS Members for MPS Members. If you would like to volunteer to give a PEP Talk, please reach out to us at contact @ marylandpastelsociety.org.
