Paint the Daylilies!
Sunday, June 28th 2026, 9am-1pm
Rain Date: Wednesday, July 1st
Gettysburg Daylilies
45 Sachs Road Gettysburg PA 17325
The Gettysburg Daylilies Farm has extensive gardens of common to exotic daylilies, which offer a colorful palette for pastel painters. They also have peacocks, so we may be entertained by some sights and sounds of their colorful birds. The farm is surrounded by views of grain fields and open pastures.
There is no fee for this event; however, we are limiting this event to 20 people. You must register to participate. There is some shade, but be prepared for sun and hot temperatures. Bring plenty of water, lunch or snack, and sunscreen. If you have a plein air shade umbrella, we recommend you bring it.
If you are new to plein air painting, limit your kit. You need to comfortably carry all the supplies you need. Be sure to clean up after yourself (leave no trace). Also, visitors to the farm are likely to stop, observe, and ask questions. That's part of the plein air experience. Be gracious with your answers and enjoy the opportunity to share your love of pastels.
