Artist Statement

I have always loved to express myself by drawing. Pastels allow me to extend this expression with color. It excites me to see how color works, evolves and seems to raise the ordinary to wondrous beauty. I never tire of the challenge to create. I hope to constantly learn and change and continue to explore the beauty all around me.
